The doors to the foundry of reknown Mexican sculptor Georgina "Gogy" Farias opened. People looked stunned as they walked in the hot room in a working class neighborhood near Mexico City. Eyes welled with tears. And before about 40 devoted Catholics stood a 12 foot-tall statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
People hugged, cried and the group began singing as the workers continued working on the statue destined for Santa Fe, the City of Holy Faith.
